“Education is not preparation of life’ education is life is self”
I am very fortunate to be the principal of such a prestigious institute of the state, Seth G.L. Bihani S.D. Sen. Sec. School, SGNR, being run under the leadership of a dynamic personality Mr. Jaideep Bihani, Chairman Bihani Education Trust who is very conscious of the further studies of students lest they should find any hindrance in their education owing to the shortage of money or any other problems. Also lucky to work with such dedicated, innovative and caring staff members, parents and students.
As a principal, I try to educate my students convincing them that education is an ocean from which drops to all fields go to make them civilized as well as efficient to earn their bread and butter essential to run their family and social life smoothly.
Working with a team spirit, our focus is the growth of each and every individual by creating in his/her confidence necessary to take charge of future and to make him/her a productive member of the community. our curriculum and practices are consistently reviewed to ensure that we are following the must updated best practices, meeting all regulations and addressing the future needs of our students.
The students of S. D. Bihani are provided with many opportunities to explore their interests and investigate new ideas. We offer many activities, sports and a large variety of musical venture that our students can participate in. Sports and cultural activities offer a vast platform to our students to show their talents and our list of such events is broadened each year with a hope to have something that interests every student.
Our cricket academy has proved a mile-stone by giving players of national and international level.
We are proud of our academic results also that have given toppers in all faculties. Our qualified staff, ventilated classroom, well-equipped labs and library, all together form such and environment conducive to all round development of each and every student.
We believe that it is not enough to make children literate and academically intelligent. What is more important is to make them wise so that they are able to use their intelligence judiciously. For it, first we develop their imaginative powers as on the basis of their knowledge, they can define only known things but imagination leads them to all we might yet discover and create.
I would like to end with the words of Robert frost:-
“The woods are lovely, dark and deep
But I have promises to keep
And miles to go before I sleep
And miles to go before I sleep”
